These areas reflect what we care about and what we are beginning to explore. They are not finished programs. They can grow and change as we keep listening to our community.
Where we are learning
Some areas are beginning to take shape. Others remain part of a longer vision.
We are exploring how culture, identity, wellness and the thoughtful use of advanced technology can support the whole keiki. This includes school connection, readiness to learn, emotional and physical well being, culturally grounded learning and caring school and community environments.
We are listening to mothers, families and care providers to better understand experiences, needs and opportunities for culturally grounded support.
We hope to support connection to moʻokūʻauhau, kūpuna knowledge, cultural practice, identity and pathways for future generations.
We are learning about relationships with ʻāina and kai, food systems, housing, place based wellness and the conditions that help communities thrive.
We want to listen to and preserve stories from kūpuna, families, educators, practitioners and community members whose experiences can teach us all.
